I created a mind map to help me brainstorm ideas centered around
inclusiveness, respect, and reciprocity.
It helped me to expand and
explore ideas related to the broader themes of connection / community,
access to technology, sharing ideas / knowledge, and tech systems.
I expanded upon these subtopics using the brainstormed ideas of our
own class, some online research, and my own personal experience and
thoughts.
I found that the ideas of connection and community to be
the most interesting as it presents the problematic psychological
research findings related to heavy technology use and its addictive
nature.
I also found the idea of access to technology and its various
costs to our society, especially in regards to education as classrooms
and schools become more reliant on technology in and outside of
class time.
